The successful applicant will be a Business Partner to UK Executive and Divisional Directors and their immediate subordinates; developing and maintaining good working relationships by being the primary contact in Finance.
As the successful applicant you will provide a consultancy service to the business partners in respect of operating methodology and finances to uphold the integrity and operational efficiency of their respective departments. Identify potential cost change opportunities or threats, provide monthly financial results and MIS to the parent company and prepare annually revenue, expense and capital expenditure budgets to achieve the company business plan. The duties will also include the preparation of monthly forecasts of revenue, expense and capital expenditure, assisting in the determination of unit costs and pricing while also providing appropriate and comprehensive management information, including contribution and profitability reporting (eg By Division, Product and Client) to be used as the basis for business decisions, assisting in the establishment of financial business cases for review and appraisal of capital expenditure by appropriate levels of management, including verification of assumptions and ensure they are reflected in financial forecasts and budgets. The role will also include assisting in the provision of financial analysis and pricing recommendations for the establishment of new products, the production of statistics for external bodies and supporting the process engineering activities throughout the company; 6 Sigma.
You have a degree standard education and are a qualified accountant with around five years experience within a multi-national company. At least two of those years will have been within a management position. Your experience should include around five years experience of capital budgeting and you should also be a competent user of Oracle*Hyperion*Crystal reports. A foreign language is desirable, but not essential.
